A Birthday Invitation

A Birthday Invitation

You are hereby invited to our member “Multitaske”’s first birthday!
As some of you may know, Multitaske is a socio-economic company that crafts all sorts of bags out of unusable and out-worn bike tubes.
All the bike tubes are picked up from local bikeshops on Nørrebro, and are washed, cut and straightened-out by MultiTaske, making the tubes ready for their transformation into durable, elegant and water-resistant bags!

The young socio-economic business situated on Nørrebro has gained quite a lot of success in the past year, and besides their web shop, Multitaske is now distributed in selected bike shops around town, and in the well-known shop Politiken Plus.

To celebrate their success, and their 1-year birthday, Multitaske would like to invite you to a cup of coffee and a piece of cake in their offices on Nørrebrogade.
The whole thing takes off on the 17th and the 19th of April, and you are all welcome from 14.00 – 17.00. Read more info on Multitaske’s birthday (in Danish), and be tempted by our selection of the durable bags from Multitaske!

Multitaske – stylish, recycled bags from Copenhagen

multitaske, copenhagen bike culture, recycling,

In Copenhagen we are well known for our biking culture, and our little capital was actually the first official Bike City in the world. Danes are, in general, well known for their love of cycling, and in Copenhagen we have around 400 kilometers of paths solely for cyclists.
Quite frequently we are visited by people from cities like New York and Beijing seeking to adopt our bicycling culture and green mindset when it comes to transportation in a modern capital.

There’s no such thing like bad weather, only bad clothes

Even though we are still awaiting acceptable temperatures here in Copenhagen some things just won’t change. The cyclists in Copenhagen and their defiance towards bad weather. We bike in every kind of weather, and in Denmark we have an old saying that states: there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. To survive in this climate, you simply need something that will keep you and your belongings dry.

One of our members is all about crafting durable accessories that matches the rainy weather we are so often presented to. We’re talking about MultiTaske situated in Copenhagen’s city area Nørrebro. MultiTaske is a socio-economic company that crafts all sorts of bags out of unusable and out-worn bike tubes. All the bike tubes are picked up from local bikeshops on Nørrebro, and are washed, cut and straightened-out by MultiTaske, making the tubes ready for their transformation into durable, elegant and water-resistant bags! Yet another cooperation between 2 CPHmade members…

… this time between Recycles and MultiTaske:

Recycles injects new life to vintage bikes-and this fits perfectly well with MultiTaske’s use of recycled bicycle tubes.

So now you can find MultiTaske’s WorkBag and FavoriteBag – among others – at Recycles at Vesterbro.

MultiTaske – new CPHmade member and a social economic company

MultiTaske is a new member of CPHmade.

MultiTaske produces an assortment of various bags – using recycle materials. MultiTaske is a social economic company – this means for instance that any profit is being invested in charity work.
